Wizz Air UK launched its inaugural service between London Luton and Bydgoszcz!

December 14 – this is a special evening at Bydgoszcz Airport. The regular flights has been inaugurated by Wizz Air UK.

WIZZ Air, the 3rd  largest carrier in Poland, has launched the first ever regular flights from Bydgoszcz Airport. The new route  to London Luton will be opreated two times  a week, on Wednesday and Sunday in December, and from January on Tuesday and Friday.

– I am glad that the inhabitants of our province, Passengers of Bydgoszcz Airport, gain access to the offer of another significant carrier. Increasing transport accessibility and improving travel comfort are important for the development of Kujawy and Pomerania. Bydgoszcz Airport shortens the distance between our region and other parts of the world – said Zbigniew Ostrowski, Deputy Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

London Luton is the largest base of new carrier and the first destination that WIZZ Air launched from Bydgoszcz Airport. Representatives of Hungarian airlines focus on further route development from the our regional airport. New destination will be anouncened soon.

The main task of the Bydgoszcz Airport is to enable inhabitants of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship to travel to many parts of the world. A new carrier at our airport means new opportunities for route development. We are aware of the huge demand for direct flights to the UK and we are excited to have another two weekly frequencies to London Luton. The London Luton flights operated by WIZZ Air have already been added to the booking systems. In the summer of 2023, Hungarian carrier will operate on Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets are available on the carrier’s website www.wizzair.com.
