Sunny Spain from Bydgoszcz Airport!

Bydgoszcz Airport is excited to announce a new destination in its route network! Starting March 31, 2025, passengers will be able to fly to Alicante, located on the sunny eastern coast of Spain. With the beginning of the summer season, our regional airport offers yet another fantastic destination to explore.

Alicante is the capital of the Costa Blanca region. This Mediterranean resort destination will be served by the Irish carrier Ryanair, connecting passengers from Kuyavia and Pomerania. The flights will be part of the regular route network of our airport, operating twice a week—on Mondays and Thursdays.

The journey to/from Alicante takes approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes. Here’s the detailed flight schedule:

• Mondays: Depart Alicante at 6:15 AM, arriving in Bydgoszcz at 9:35 AM. The return flight departs Bydgoszcz at 10:00 AM, landing in Alicante at 1:20 PM.
• Thursdays: Depart Alicante at 5:25 PM, arriving in Bydgoszcz at 8:45 PM. The return flight departs Bydgoszcz at 9:10 PM, arriving in Alicante at 12:30 AM.

Spanish cuisine, historic landmarks, picturesque coastlines—Alicante is a culturally rich city. It’s renowned for the June festivities of Hogueras de San Juan, as well as Holy Week celebrations and Easter events. While in Alicante, be sure to visit the Castle of Santa Bárbara, which dates back to the 9th century when it served as a defensive fortress.
