Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Lufthansa and Bydgoszcz Airport tighten cooperation

Today, a letter of intent to promote the educational offer of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region on the Asian markets was signed at the Bydgoszcz Airport. The letter was signed by representatives of Nicolaus Copernicus University, Lufthansa and Bydgoszcz Airport.

As part of this important initiative for the region, the parties declare their commitment to actively promote the educational offer of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region on the Asian markets. Aside from tourists and businessmen, Asian students are a particularly important target group for these activities. One of the priorities of the cooperation will be an increase of accessibility of Kujawsko-Pomorskie via Lufthansa and Bydgoszcz Airport.

We are pleased to further strengthen our cooperation with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region. Thanks to the convenient timetable on the route Bydgoszcz – Frankfurt, Lufthansa is the ideal choice for passengers from Asia. It is important for us that we contribute to the cooperation aimed to encoure people to visit the beautiful Kujawsko-Pomorskie region and develop business ventures here. – said Frank Wagner, Country Manager of Lufthansa Group Poland.

The proximity of the airport is extremely important for foreigners studying medicine in english at the Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. – said prof. From October 29., Lufthansa is launching additional rotation to Frankfurt on Saturday, one of Europe’s most important HUB airport. Everyday flights allow greater flexibility in planning trips to more than 160 destinations around the world.
