More convenient at the Bydgoszcz airport

A new passenger path at the airport has been opened. Travelers can leave their car in an extended parking, quickly check in their luggage and pass security checks on the first floor of the terminal. Thanks to the changes, they have more space available in the public part of the terminal and access to the enlarged Baltona shopping area. These are further investments raising the standard of service and safety of check-in at the airport.

Reconstruction of the passenger terminal of Bydgoszcz Airport is another stage of positive changes at the airport. Modernizations are planned and implemented to adapt the area to the growing number of passengers and constantly improve the quality of passenger service. Thanks to the completion of the reconstruction stages, both check-in, security check, waiting for the plane and using the commercial part of the airport are more convenient.
Theese are important changes for travelers. After sending checked baggage in one of the seven check-in desks located on the ground floor, they move to the first floor, where security control takes place, plus an additional position and an express check service – fast track. Then they go to the departure hall, where there is a duty-free zone, catering, children’s corner, VIP lounge. Escalators make it easier for passengers to go to the passport control point and gates on the ground floor of the departure hall.
Reconstruction of the terminal is not the only change recently in the airport infrastructure. In response to the increase in the number of passengers, additional parking spaces were created and the car park was divided into two zones. The payment system has been adapted to the expectations of travelers. Rebuilt parking with a new price list will be launched on Monday, July 23.
The current works represent significant changes for travelers, aiming to increase the comfort and safety of passengers – says Tomasz Moraczewski, President of the Management Board of the Bydgoszcz Airport. At the same time, we are working on completing the provisions for issuing an environmental decision regarding planned investments. All activities are closely correlated with plans to further increase the number of passengers and are the implementation of the provisions and assumptions of the Port owners, specified in the General Plan of the Bydgoszcz Airport for the years 2014-2034.
