New route Bydgoszcz-Lviv is another attractive connection that Airport offers passengers from our region. It is also an important element of supporting the development of tourist, student and business tourism. We are convinced that the connection will find many customers in Kujawsko-Pomorskie and on the Ukrainian side. We want to further support its development through joint initiatives with business organizations, universities from our region and tour operators – says Tomasz Moraczewski, President of Bydgoszcz Airport Board.

The connection to Ukraine will be handled by LOT Polish Airlines, which returns to Bydgoszcz after several months of absence. Route from Bydgoszcz to Lvov allow us to connect these two beautiful and important business regions. I can cite hundreds of reasons why you should visit the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship and so much to visit Lviv, one of the most beautiful Ukrainian cities. LOT is the strongest European carrier in Ukraine, thanks to the new connection we show that we can also use the potential in Polish regions and we do not hesitate to open attractive, direct cruises from regional airports. We are pleased to welcome again the Bydgoszcz Airport in our network of connections– says Adrian Kubicki, director of corporate communications at LOT Polish Airlines.

Lviv is an attractive tourist destination whose historic center is listed on the UNESCO list. Only in 2014 was visited by over 1.7 million tourists. The connection with Bydgoszcz is an opportunity to organize weekend trips allowing you to see the most important monuments of the city – the Potocki Palace, the National Museum, the sacral buildings, but also to participate in cultural events. The city is well connected with the rest of the country by air, rail and bus connections, so that tourists can visit other cities in Ukraine.
