2016 summary

In entire 2016 Bydgoszcz airport handled more than 337 000 passengers, which represents a slight (1%) decrease compared to 2015. The balanced result was impacted by additional flights Lufthansa on Tuesday, a new connection Bydgoszcz- Rome and consistent increase of Ryanair flights to London Stansted (from 5 to 6 per week in winter).

Last month of 2016 years Bydgoszcz Airport ended with 22 090 passengers handled during 337 flight operations. Result compared with December 2015 is 6.2% decrease. The lower result is dictated by the suspension of Ryanair 2 flights for the duration of the winter season- to Glasgow and Dusseldorf Weeze. Connections will return to network in March 2017 and are now available for booking.

The year 2016 is also the end of an important investment of significantly expanding airport terminal. The new space is equipped with a duty-free shop, VIP lounge, children’s corner and cafes.
