Two-millionth passenger with Ryanair in Bydgoszcz.
January 8th 2015 Bydgoszcz Airport has departed its two-millionth passenger with Ryanair. This year it will be 10 years since Ryanair launched its connection to Bydgoszcz. It currently offers connections to 5 airports in Europe.
Ryanair’s two millionth passenger in Bydgoszcz was Joanna Stachurska – Kwela who flew to London Stansted, along with her two children, 6-year-old Nina and Iwo, which today also celebrated his fourth birthday. As part of a special gift from Ryanair passenger received two both way tickets and from the airport commemorative calendars for the New Year and other gadgets .
This year it will be 10 years since Ryanair launched its connection to Bydgoszcz. The first flight took place on the 30th of October 2005, Boeing 737-8AS Bydgoszcz- from London Stansted This route is the most popular of the ones on offer from Bydgoszcz. Annually on this route travel approx. 100,000 passengers.
In addition to London Stansted, Ryanair currently offers connections to Dusseldorf Weeze, Dublin, Glasgow and Birmingham. By 2014, Raynair asserted trips from our airport up to 237 944 passengers. Due to the increasing popularity of connections from Bydgoszcz, carrier has repeatedly increased the number of days in the grid
