Ryanair launches a new route from Bydgoszcz

From spring we will fly to Edinburgh. The first cruise to the capital of Scotland is on April 2. Tickets on sale now

Ryanair launches a new connection from Bydgoszcz airport. From April 2nd 2020 we will fly on a Boeing 738 to Edinburgh, Scotland. Flights will run twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. Convenient schedule and just a 140-minute flight will connect kujawsko-pomorskie with the capital of Scotland. Flights twice a week allow convenient and fast travel for both a large group of Poles from our province living in Scotland, organizing school trips or short citybreaks in the green land.

– Flights to Edinburgh will replace the connections to Prestwick, offered in the summer flights network. The change is very beneficial for our passengers – says Tomasz Moraczewski, President of the Management Board of Bydgoszcz Airport – Edinburgh Airport is much better connected to the city, located closer to the center.

On Thursdays, the plane will depart from Edinburgh at 7:00 and land in Bydgoszcz at 10:20. The return journey will start at 10:45 and end in Scotland at 12:05. Flights on Sundays will be 40 minutes faster. The cruise from Edinburgh will start at 6:20 and will land in Bydgoszcz at 9:40. Return at 10:05 and land in Edinburgh at 11:25. Tickets are already on sale at ryanair.com, at the airport’s ticket office and at travel agencies.

The capital of Scotland is the seventh largest city in Great Britain. The city is famous for its castle, beautiful old town and numerous annual events and festivals. Edinburgh Airport is located a few kilometers from the city center, and access is possible by a direct shuttle bus, several bus lines and a tram.
