About Bristol
Bristol is a delightful city not only in the south-west of England, but also in the whole of Great Britain. The incredible number of monuments, some of which remember the medieval times, makes it impossible to get bored even during a longer stay in Bristol. One of the city’s symbols is the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the bridge over the River Avon, which appears in most of Bristol’s scenic photos. An absolute must see in the city is also the historic Bristol Temple Meads railway station – its origins date back to the first half of the 19th century. Bristol is also a city of culture and science – it houses great theater (with the Theatre Royal) and concert stages, as well as two universities. Bristol is a great destination for nature lovers: there are as many as nine nature reserves in its territory.
